Puppy Tortured To Death, Found In Sealed Box On Montco Roadside: Cops
Police are looking for suspects and more information after a puppy was found in a metal crate sealed in plastic on the side of the road.

UPPER DUBLIN, PA -- Authorities are looking for suspects in the torture death of a puppy in Upper Dublin Township.
The dog was found inside a metal cage which had been wrapped in plastic and sealed with tape, and then left on the side of the road, according to the Upper Dublin Township Police Department.
Officers found the dead pit bull terrier puppy in the area of Welsh Road near Blair Mill Road in the Willow Grove section, police said.

Pieces of drywall had been used as bedding for the crate.
Officials believe the puppy, which was severely underweight, had been trapped in the crate for several days before its death.

The Montgomery County SPCA performed a necropsy and confirmed the dog's cause of death as suffocation, Philly.com reported.
The investigation is being treated as a torture case, police said.
