The Gas Files 2/22: Gas Prices Spike, Some Stations Still Low

Find out where the gas is cheap before it goes up in price this week.

As we all very well know, unrest in the Middle East often leads to higher gas prices, and if this week's prices are any indication, that pattern holds true.

The price of oil spiked as high as 9 percent today, and so consumers can expect to see prices continuing to rise, as they have done the past week. However, several stations in the area are still holding, with the 7-Eleven even falling in price this week to currently hold its place as the cheapest gas in Upper Dublin.

The Exxon station in Maple Glen raised its prices the most this week, and it was already the most expensive. It would cost a person $3.36 more to fill up a 12-gallon tank with regular gas at the Maple Glen Exxon than it would at the 7-Eleven.
