The Upper Dublin Boys tennis team battled through a windy day Thursday to defeat Upper Merion in convincing fashion.
The Cardinals dropped just six sets on the day, as all four doubles teams and all three single competitors came out victorious.
Hari Murali set the tone in his first singles blanking of Athara Deshpande, 6-0, 6-0. Jason Chavenson would score a 6-1, 6-0 victory in second doubles and Jerry Li a victory in third singles by the same score.
In doubles play, Adam Chernow and Kevin Wu earned a 6-0, 6-2 victory in first doubles while Tommy O'Brian and Matt Paston won 6-1, 6-0 in second singles.
The Cardinals earned another flawless victory in third singles when Jason Britchkow and Kevin Hollingsworth teamed up for the 6-0, 6-0 win and Dak Kofsky and Joe Kwon closed out the day with a 6-1, 6-0 win in fourth doubles.
The team victory moves the Cardinals to a perfect 4-0 on the year ahead of next Tuesday's visit from Norristown High.
