Upper Dublin High School held its first Mini-THON in 2014. More than 150 students participated and the event raised approximately $14,000. On November 18, hundreds of people came out to support UDHS’s 2017 Mini-THON and collected more than $42,000, which will be contributed to Four Diamonds to conquer pediatric cancer and help the families of cancer patients.
The annual event includes five hours of non-stop games, music and fun and is modeled after the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON).
Four Diamonds uses the donations to provide superior care and comprehensive support to children with cancer being treated at Penn State Children’s Hospital to ensure that every child treated for cancer there has no out-of-pocket costs for their families.
