Upper Dublin School District Named 34th Safest School District In PA

UPPER DUBLIN, PA — Upper Dublin School District has been named among the safest school districts in the state, according to a new study.

The rankings come from Niche.com, an organization which utilizes public information and reviews to produce school rankings in a wide variety of categories.

Specifically, the 2017 "safest districts" measure looked at student and parent ratings of health and safety, crime in the area, school rates of expulsion and suspension, and arrests which took place at the school.

Upper Dublin was named 34th safest in the state, earning an "A" on five of the six main categories.

The safest district in both Pennsylvania and the United States, according to the list, is nearby Radnor Township School District.
