Upper Dublin Student Scientists Travel to Science Fair
Several students competed at the Delaware Valley Science Fair.

Several students from Upper Dublin High School competed at the Delaware Valley Science Fair and had strong showings.
Senior James Traile won first place in Meteorology, winning the American Meterological Society Award along the way.
Junior Calvin Chan won in Mathematics, earning a $60,000 scholarship to the University of the Sciences along the way.

12th Grade

Ilana Zeitzer: 3rd Place in Botany and the Dupont Excellence in Science Award ($75)
James Traile: 1st Place in Meteorology and the American Meteorological Society Award
11th Grade
Amy Li: 2nd in Botany, the Association of Women Geoscientists award and a scholarship to the University of the Sciences ($48,000)
Calvin Chan: 1st Place in Mathematics and a scholarship to the University of the Sciences ($60,000)
Jason Xu: 4yr scholarship to the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology ($80,000)
10th Grade
Alexis Schneider: 2nd place in Biochemistry, an award from the United States Air Force, and an award from the American Statisticians Association ($150).
9th Grade
Amanda Yang: 2nd Place in mathematics and the Mu Alpha Theta Award
