Wrestling: Germantown Grapplers Take Second in State Tournament

Five Patriots top podium as entire team medals.

The Germantown Academy wrestling team placed 2nd in the Pennsylvania Independent School State Wrestling Tournament on February 18.

 All 14 wrestlers placed in the top eight, earning a spot on the podiums.

Champions were Brady Riley (113), Chris Yankowich (138), BJ Crozier (145) and Keith Corliss (195). 

Second place finishers were Barrett Connor (106), Nick Grossi (220) and Chuck Boddy (285).

3rd place finishers were Kristian Kergides (120 and Jared Gober (132).

4th Place finishers were John Grossi (152) and Marcus Anthony (182).

6th place went to Kilian Connor (126) and 8th place Jake Marshall (160) and CD David (170). 

The top 6 place winners in each weight class will now advance to National Prep Championships at Lehigh University next weekend.
