Need a Job? Amazon Goes on Hiring Spree

Amazon announced Monday it will hire more than 7,000 workers nationwide, including at its warehouse in Breinigsville.

Online retailer Amazon.com will hire more than 5,000 full-time workers at its fulfillment centers across the country, including its Breingsville warehouse, the company announced Monday. 

Amazon.com did not say how many new workers will be hired locally, but the Breinigsville warehouse is among 17 sites adding positions, the company said in a release. 

The company currently employs more than 20,000 people full-time at its fulfillment centers.

Also, Amazon.com plans to fill more than 2,000 full-time, part-time and seasonal jobs across its customer service network—in West Virginia, Washington, Kentucky and North Dakota.

The company said it is adding the jobs to meet growing customer demands.
