Embassy Bank Announces Promotions

Bethlehem, PA – February 21, 2013 - Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley has announced three recent promotions.

The bank promoted Michelle Barron to vice president of deposit operations.  She has 17 years of community banking experience, the most recent eight years with Embassy Bank as assistant vice president, deposit operations. In the community, Barron is an active supporter of the Best Friends Animal Society, North Shore Animal Rescue League and the Association for Animal Protective Legislation and Law Enforcement.

The bank promoted Kathryn Wyant to assistant vice president in the finance department.  With five years of community banking experience, she has been with Embassy for the past two years, most recently in the finance department as assistant treasurer in her current position as assistant controller.  Wyant holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Moravian College and recently completed the Uniform CPA examination of the American Institute of CPAs.   She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs. In the community, Wyant serves as a volunteer with  the Grocery Shopper Program for homebound seniors in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

The bank promoted Antonio Dias to assistant treasurer in the finance department.  He joined the bank after graduating from Penn State in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the university’s Smeal College of Business.  Dias previously held the post of operations banker in Embassy’s finance department. In the community, Dias is a regular supporter and participant in the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley.
