Kuhns and Heller Window Treatments Introduces New Accessory Line

Three-Day Open House Also Celebrates New Partnership with Distinctive Accents

Trexlertown, Pa. -- Kuhns and Heller Custom Window Treatments Inc. (K&H) will host a three-day Open House this month at its Trexlertown headquarters to introduce a new line of accessories that complement its window treatments and celebrate a new partnership with Corky Tarola, formerly of Distinctive Accents in Macungie.

The Open House will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13; Friday, Sept. 14 and Saturday, Sept. 15 at the K&H showroom, 1110 Trexlertown Rd., Trexlertown. The new line of accessories include a variety of lamps, mirrors, pictures, vases, tables, custom-made benches and pillows from such well-known names as Uttermost, Root Candles, Ashton, Butler Furniture and Privilege, as well as custom-made floral arrangements created by Tarola.

“We’re responding to our clients needs to provide additional services in the home décor line.” says Sandy Kuhns, Design Director and President of K&H Custom Window Treatments. “We are thrilled to have Corky Tarola with us to do all of her floral arrangements here in our store and assist our customers with their design needs.”

K&H, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2011, recently completed a major renovation of its showroom in Trexlertown to better display the new accessory line and Tarola’s floral arrangements.  K&H is known as the company that helped PPL Inc. bring back its iconic Christmas tree and candle window decorations for the holiday season and has worked with companies such as Dun & Bradstreet for its office building in Center Valley; Lehigh Valley Hospital, Lehigh University and Lafayette College, American Bank and Woodstone Country Club

Established in 1986 by Sandy Kuhns and her late mother, Norma Heller, K & H Custom Window Treatments employs nine full-timers – including two seamstresses – in their display shop and manufacturing center on old Route 100 in Trexlertown.
