Generations of Brides will be a fun and inspiring evening to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The event is being organized by Julie Knight, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and will feature more than 25 real Lehigh Valley women modeling theirs or a family members’ wedding gown in a runway-style fashion show.
Knight will serve as MC as the evening’s wedding gown models include Melissa Pavlack of Pavlack Law Offices; Kristine McCreary of Lehigh Valley Grand Prix; Marisol Sosnowski of eWomen Network; Eileen Budd of Budd Agency; Jennifer Mann of Shuze; Marlyn Kissner and Ellie Passman of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce; Sarah Petryk of Melt; Dr. Heather Stencosky of Comprehensive Chiropractic and others. The evening will close with a message of hope from Stage 4 cancer survivor Eva Grayzel. Jennifer Salvage of One Dress One Woman One World will join the models in a photo to capture the event as part of her historic adventure.
Knight is a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year (www.mwoy.org) campaign. MWOY is a fundraising competition in communities across the U.S. in which participants vie for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. Funds raised support blood cancer research. In the Lehigh Valley, there are five local candidates in the Man & Woman of the Year campaign.

“This campaign is important to me because I can contribute to research that will hopefully lead to a cure for blood cancers and potentially other cancers,” said Knight. “I am honored to have been chosen to be part of the Man and Woman of the Year campaign and am excited to be hosting Generations of Brides to raise valuable dollars and awareness for the LLS and its mission.”
