The family fishing program is a 4
hour educational fishing program designed to introduce or reintroduce families
to the joy of angling.  Half of the
program is educational (knot tying, rules & regulations, casting practice,
gear and tackle guidance.)  The second
half of the program is the fishing experience, it will be catch and release
(license exempt).  Parents must bring
children, and children must bring parents.
Everyone is learning and fishing together as a family to understand how
this activity can be used for bonding time.
The PFBC will provide all tackle and fishing equipment.  We ask that participants bring your own bait- worms (red, night
crawlers, or meal) whole corn kernels or even a package of hot dogs.  Children must be 8 years old so they have the
coordination and attention span to wholly participate.  Must be a resident of Upper Macungie
Township.
