Festival at Bear Creek Features Cheese Rolling Sunday
Cheese, Garlic and Folk Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11
will host a Cheese, Garlic and Folk Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The festival will feature cheese rolling at 2 p.m.
Registration for cheese rolling will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the guest services lobby.
Competitors will gather at the top of the hill above the pond, a round of cheese will be rolled and competitors will race down the hill after the cheese.

The festival will also feature cheese and garlic samples from local farmers, cheese and garlic appetizer contests, live music, cooking demonstrations and local crafts.
There will be activities for kids includi face painting, storytelling, arts and crafts and treasure hunting.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12. Children 5 and under are admitted free.
