Fogelsville School Welcomes Jaindl Students

Fogelsville Elementary School holds "Transition Day" to welcome the 47 Jaindl Elementary School students who will be transferring to Fogelsville in the fall.

About 47 Jaindl Elementary School students got a chance to meet their future classmates and teachers Thursday during "Transition Day" at Fogelsville Elementary School. 

The Jaindl students will be transferring to Fogelsville next fall as part of Parkland School District's redistricting plan to ease crowding at Jaindl school. 

Fogelsville Principal Brenda DeRenzo said the day went well with the students getting a chance to mix during lunch, recess, in classrooms and at a special welcome assembly.
