Upper Macungie will continue to sizzle this week as the first extended heat wave of the summer brings temperatures in the high 80s and low 90s every day, according to the National Weather Service.
The coolest point of the week is expected to be Monday night when temperatures could dip to 62 degrees.
The July 4 forecast is chance of showers and thunderstorms, partly sunny, with a high near 90.
