Hope And Caroline Need Your Help

This week's Shelter Animals In Need are waiting for good homes. Maybe yours is the one?

Each week, Upper Macungie Patch features animals in need of homes from local animal welfare groups.  Are you thinking about opening up your home to a pet?  Consider adopting one of these lovable critters, both desperately in need of a loving, permanent place to call home.

HOPE

Approximately six months old, Hope is a sweet and affectionate calico.  Unfortunately, she was caught in a leg hold trap and her front leg had to be amputated.  However, she gets around very well on three legs and doesn’t seem to see herself as disabled.  She is up to date with shots, is Leukemia negative and spayed. Hope needs to be the only cat in a home. Families with children will be considered. She is available through www.forgottenfelines.org.  Call 610-760-9009 for more information.

CAROLINE

Sweet Caroline is a pug/dachshund mix, approximately six-to-seven years old. She is a lap dog who enjoys traveling in the car.  Neutered and fully vaccinated, she just had her teeth cleaned, too  Unfortunately, Caroline’s owner passed away and she found herself in a Philadelphia kill shelter. She is eager to find a permanent home and would do best as the only pet. For more information, visit www.thesanctuarypa.org or call Liz at 484-788-8062.
