1. IRISH STORYTELLING

Why Go:  Juilene Osborne-McKnight, author of Songs of Ireland, Bright Sword of Ireland, Daughter of Ireland, and I Am of Irelaunde, will share tales of the Emerald Isle, answer questions and sell and sign copies of her books.

2. ST. PATTY’S DAY FARE 

Where/When: 2141 Packhouse Road, Fogelsville; Thursday – Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Why Go:  Favorites such as Corned Beef, Irish Soda Bread and Shepherd’s Pie will be available a la carte Thursday and Friday. Enjoy prix fixe special Saturday.

3. ST. PATRICK’S WEEKEND

Where/When: , 6616 Ruppsville Road, Allentown; Thursday – Sunday

Why Go:  The entire weekend will be dedicated to St. Patrick’s Day, with food and drink specials, entertainment and more.

Pricing: Music is free; food varies.

4. ANNUAL SPRING COLORS FESTIVAL 

Where/When:  Parkland High School, 2700 N. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Allentown; Saturday, 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Why Go: Geared towards elementary and middle school students in the school district, this fun-filled festival utilizes music, dance, food, arts and crafts and athletics to promote multicultural acceptance.

5. MOVIE NIGHT

Where/When: , 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville; Saturday, 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Children age 3 through sixth-grade students can watch the movie UP and enjoy a meal.
