2. THE ART OF QUILLING

Where/When: Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Avenue, Allentown; Thursday, 7-8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Learn about the unique art of quilling from expert Jim Miller. Participants will actually create their own pieces to take home. Space is limited; adult patrons invited to attend.

3. LIVE MUSIC AT VYNECREST

Why Go: You could be the recipient of a coveted Vollie Award, which recognizes the time and effort of volunteers. BBQ provided; sides and desserts welcome.

Where/When: The Sanctuary at Haafsville, corner of Adams Road and Nestle Way, Breinigsville; Sunday, 10 a.m.

Why Go: Combine your love of yardwork and landscaping with the desire to help a great cause.
