Each week Upper Macungie Patch features pets in need of loving home from local animals welfare groups. This week we feature Polly and Fifi. If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your household, won’t you consider adopting one of these cuddly creatures?
POLLY
Found wandering a neighborhood during the winter after her owner moved away, Polly needs a fresh start this spring. She is a shy girl, but is a very calm lap cat that enjoys being brushed. She doesn’t mind being in the company of other cats, but Polly is not one to socialize. A quiet, adult home complete with a window seat would be a great set-up for this kitty. Approximately two-years-old, Polly is up to date on shots and is Leukemia negative. She has polydactyl toes, which simply means she has an extra toe on each paw.

Fifi is a 12-year-old black poodle/cocker spaniel mix. She enjoys other dogs and greeting new people. Sadly, her owner recently moved to a nursing home, leaving Fifi in need of a new “for the rest of her life” home. She is housebroken and does not chase cats. Because she loves food so much, Fifi could use to lose a few pounds. She is up to date with her shots. This lovable lady will make a great companion for someone.
Available through The Sanctuary at Haafsville, contact Jann at 610-763-5820 for more information, or visit www.thesanctuarypa.org.
