Nine Parkland Students Win Awards at SkillsUSA Competition

Lehigh Career & Technical Institute had 119 students participate in the District 11 SkillsUSA Championship, held at the Agri-Plex of the Allentown Fairgrounds.

  • Advertising Design, 2nd place, Valeria Cosme
  • Automated Manufacturing Technology, 1st place, Zachary Bath
  • Automated Manufacturing Technology, 1st place, Evan Dietrich
  • Automotive Refinishing Technology, 1st place, Brian Anthony
  • Basic Health Care Skills, 2nd place, Christina Smith
  • Computer Maintenance Technology, 3rd place, Hadrian Gable
  • Electronics Technology, 2nd place, Alex Molchany
  • Residential Plumbing, 2nd place, Matthew Mohring
  • Residential Wiring, 2nd place, Devin Moyer

In all, Lehigh Career & Technical Institute had 119 students participate in the District 11 SkillsUSA Championship, which was held at the Agri-Plex of the Allentown Fairgrounds. According to LCTI, 18 students earned first-place prizes, 17 earned second-place and 19 earned third-place.
