Parkland Recognizes New Teachers, Staff

Parkland officials recognized the district's new teachers and staff Tuesday night at a short reception at the .

and school principals took turns in introducing to the board the 29 new hires, including 17 teachers.

New teachers at are:

• Eric Focht, chemistry
• Mark Freeman, math
• Tara Marsh, ninth grade learning support
• Amy Munson, earth and space science
• Lauren Shields, Spanish
• Julie Wood, Spanish
