Think Summer: Township Begins Taking Pavilion Reservations Today
Upper Macungie will also accept ballfield reservations from township youth organizations beginning today.

Upper Macungie begins accepting reservations today, Jan. 2, for its park pavilions.
Township youth organizations also can start reserving township ballfields. Others can reserve ballfields starting Friday, Feb. 1.

Pavilions
According to the township website:
* Pavilions can be reserved April through October. You can place a five-day hold on a date by calling the township at 610-395-4892.
* Applications can be mailed to the municipal building, 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville, or dropped off there from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
* Pavillion forms are available on the township website.
* Rental fees for pavilions are $50 to $125 for residents, and $100 to $175 for non-residents, depending on the park. A $100 security deposit also is required.
Ballfields
* Application must be made for use of the fields. Applications can be mailed to the municipal building, 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville, or dropped off there from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
* Tournament fees vary and are available on the township website.
