The Parkland girls varsity soccer team began the District 11 3A/2A tournament with the 10th seed and have pulled off upset after upset to continue advancing.

On Tuesday, the Lady Trojans advanced to the D-11 final with yet another overtime victory, this one over Northwestern Lehigh by 1-0 score at the Whitehall High School sports complex. Liz Andrew tallied the goal in extra time.

Parkland will now face fifth-seeded Easton Thursday for the D-11 3A/2A crown.
