Accident Leads To Traffic Standstill On I-276 Near Willow Grove

BREAKING: An accident on I-276 near Willow Grove brought traffic in the area to a complete standstill early Tuesday afternoon.

WILLOW GROVE, PA -- An accident on I-276 westbound late Tuesday morning caused significant traffic issues, according to traffic reports from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The incident occurred sometime between noon around mile marker 341.1, officials said. Authorities have been on the scene since 11:45 a.m., according to Montco Active Incidents.

Mile marker 341.1 is between the Willow Grove and Virginia Drive exits.

At around 1:45 p.m., traffic remained at a stand still for much of the westbound stretch from Feasterville-Trevose to the outskirts of the Dresher, according to PA 511.

The accident initially blocked all lanes of traffic, then only the center and right lanes. It now appears to be clear but significant delays continue.
