ALERT: Tornado Warning Issued In Montgomery County (EXPIRED)
Residents are advised to "take cover now," according to the National Weather Service.

A tornado warning was issued across Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon.
The warning was set to expire at 3:45 p.m.

Doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near Elverson... or 12 miles southeast of reading... and moving northeast at 20 mph.
Residents are advised to ”take cover now,” according to the National Weather Service.

According to the National Weather Service, the specific locations that will be affected include:
WEST CHESTER... NORRISTOWN... PHOENIXVILLE... WEST NORRITON... VALLEY FORGE... BRYN MAWR... KING OF PRUSSIA... RADNOR TOWNSHIP... TROUT LAKE... PAOLI... NEWTOWN SQUARE... LIONVILLE... LIONVILLE-MARCHWOOD... CHESTER SPRINGS... WEST GOSHEN... BRIDGEPORT... MALVERN... WEST CONSHOHOCKEN... EAGLEVILLE AND EXTON.
The warning extended to Chester and Delaware Counties as well.
