Grand Prize Winner Receives $20,000 to Split with a Charity of Its Choice
CONSHOHOCKEN, Penn. (Dec. 2, 2015) – Currently, members of the public can vote for their favorite business to win the grand prize at Firstrust Bank’s 4th Annual Philly’s Business First Awards.
Finalists were chosen from a strong pool of nominated businesses. The business awarded the grand prize wins $20,000 to be split with the charity of its choice. Now in its fourth year, the Philly’s Business First Awards were created to shine a spotlight on local businesses making a positive difference and embody the spirit of community, innovation, family and excellence.

“The nominations we received exceeded our expectations,” said Richard J. Green, CEO and Board Chairman of Firstrust Bank. “The commitment of all the nominees toward community service, honesty and customer service, among many other values, is truly remarkable.”
Last year, more than 650 businesses were nominated for the Philly’s Business First Awards. The top winner, Elbow Lane Day Camp of Wayne, Penn., shared its grand prize of $15,000 with two charities, Project Hero and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The voting phase began on Nov. 30, 2015 and continues through Dec. 31, 2015. Members of the public are invited to vote daily at www.bizfirstawards.com; each vote cast counts as an entry to win an Apple Watch®. Following the close of the public voting phase, winners will be selected Jan. 1 – 5, 2016. Winners of the Philly’s Business First Awards will be announced on or around Jan. 6, 2016.
