Bill Cosby Seeks Criminal Defense Lawyer In Montgomery County: Reports

Bill Cosby is allegedly seeking a criminal defense lawyer as rumors swirl that he will be charged in Montgomery County for sexual assault, according to multiple media reports.

Representatives for Cosby contacted him recently about a “pending investigation in Montgomery County, Yahoo News reports.

Jacobs said that he referred the representatives to a different high profile lawyer in the area, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Cosby is seeking defense for a 2005 sexual-assault complaint filed against him by Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee at the time, reports state.

While Cosby was not charged due to insufficient evidence at the time, his situation has drastically changed given the allegations that have come to light in recent months.

Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman did not confirm they were looking into the case.
