Body Found In Darby Creek Believed To Be Missing Boy: Report

The 11-year-old has been missing since Monday.

A body found in Darby Creek is believed to be that of 11-year-old Laquan Lattimore, according to a report by the Delaware County Times.

Officials have not yet confirmed the body is Lattimore.

The body was found in the Prospect Park section of Montgomery Park in Folcroft Wednesday afternoon at about 2:30 p.m.

Local police, assisted by the FBI had been looking for Lattimore, who went missing in Folcroft Monday afternoon.

Officials have not said whether or not the body is Lattimore.

Lattimore lives with relatives in Folcroft and is a student at Sharon Hill Elementary School. He was last seen riding his bicycle in the area of King Avenue and Chester Pike near the Family Dollar.

FBI spokesman J. J. Klaver said Wednesday afternoon that the Delaware County Medical Examiners Office was in the process of trying to identify the body.

Until then, the investigation into Lattimore’s disappearance goes on.

“The investigation will continue until a positive ID on the body is found,” said Klaver.
