Bucks County's Own Village Renaissance Faire releases Mystical East Stage Schedule
The Mystical East Stage at Sept 20 & 21 Renaissance Faire features regional dancers, live drummers, interactive lessons and audience FUN

The mystique of centuries gone by can be experienced in just a few weeks in the heart of Bucks County, on Sept 20 & 21, where a a small town library presents an authentic faire that rivals commerical faires near and far, all for pittance at today’s prices of $5 admission. The Faire now boats 9 stages, so not every schedule has yet been released, but one stage has announced it full schedule--the Mystical East.
Of the 9 stages of Live Entertainment at the 15th Village Renaissance Faire, the crowds do come, sit, and enjoy their faire food, whether a turkey leg or traditional faire, at the Mystical East, a covered, seated stage right next to our foodcourt. A concept created during the faires third year and continued every since due to audience demands, it is under the directorship of of the Mystical Mistress, Michelle Devine, Frenchtown, NJ, who runs belly dancing shows coast to coast. Not only does her troupe, Mahalat! perform, but she coordinates a diverse regional wealth of talent, that excites the attendees every year, from the youngest to the oldest through performances, drummer circles, and free lessons.
The stage will offer non-stop dancing and music for all guests, but one the featured dance troupes will be our local troupe, Tribal Bellies. Vikki Gale of Newtown, PA owns and teaches at Tribal Bellies Dance Studio in Huntingdon Valley, PA. Vikki, along with her student dance troupe Daughters of the Hip, has participated in the Wrightstown Village Faire for several years now, both dancing and offering henna art in “the Mystical East”. The Village Faire has become a favorite event for members of Tribal Bellies Studio, both as an event that is fun to take part in and a fantastic festival to bring family and friends to. When not dancing, the gals of Tribal Bellies enjoy visiting the sites and attractions the faire has to offer....they are committed, now for their 10th year, to be part of the this authentic, wholesome, affordable family friendly renaissance faire....for a Cause.
The Mystical East Director, Michelle Divine of Frenchtown, NJ, proudly announces her schedule for this September’s Faire:

When asked why? Michelle says she was intrigued over 10 years ago in the passion of a community that could run such a faire, so she came with the intention of performing for just one year...afterall, its a great deal of commitment to put together a show for just one weekend. Yet, she has never left because, she says, the people and the faire are infectious, in a good sense, you get caught up in the good will, its charity purpose, and authenticity of the faire, so much, that you want to come back year after year. It is truly like no other.
Although the dancers are proud of their show, they know they are but one significant part of an impressive cast that rivals commercial faires, yet at a pittance of $5, so its not only close and friendly, but affordable to all despite proudly boasting a cast of:
- aerialists
- armored jousting
- Flying birds of prey
- firebreathers
- human chess
- stiltwalkers
- shakespeare
- trebuchet launchings
- animals activities & FREE childrens area
