Check It Off Your List

Lists-as-news is an incredibly over-used writing style. Probably because it lends itself so well to Internet reading and writing. Overused or not, I like lists.

Lately, I've found lots of summer reading lists online. It certainly is that time of year. I've been inspired to share some of the lists and their books in any format, that you can check out from Upper Moreland Free Library.

Look for them throughout the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, here are a few book-of-lists books to get you warmed-up.

  • The Gardener's Companion: A Book of Lists and Lore by Roberta Coughlin.
  • The Great Book of Philadelphia Sports Lists by Glen Macnow & Big Daddy Graham.
  • The All-New Book of Lists for Kids by Sandra & Harry Choron.
  • Scholastic Book of Lists by James Buckley.
