The Choristers can share the experience of live music!
The Choristers, a 65-70 voice auditioned civic concert choir, will host its 3rd annual Monte Carlo Night on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 7 pm – 11 pm at Marjeane Caterers, 320 S. Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
The Monte Carlo Night Event involves casino-style games such as poker, black jack, roulette and craps. Winners receive gaming chips for which they can redeem raffle tickets to bid on donated prizes and baskets. Price of admission ($25 per adult, 21 years of age and above) includes: food, beverage, and gaming chips. There will be an extra opportunity to purchase additional chips at a discounted price. The Choristers, one of the premiere concert choirs in the Philadelphia suburbs with a loyal following in eastern Montgomery County and central Bucks County, is pleased to present the following concerts for your listening enjoyment and love of music.
Save the date – Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 7:30 pm – when The Choristers will present a family-friendly concert entitled, The Animals A’ Comin’, choral music about animals – birds, flies, cats, mice, crickets, horses, pigs, kangaroos, and more!
Something new for this concert…music will be accompanied by projected animal images complementing each specific animal song. Much of the music is humorous, if not hilarious!
Music performed will be by composers: Eric Whitacre, Handel, Copland, Brahms, Barber, Stanford, Ivor Davies, and Lennon/McCartney. The concert will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
Tickets may be purchased in advance for a discounted price at www.TheChoristers.org (after October 18). Children (middle school age and under) are admitted FREE.
Looking ahead – Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 7:30 pm – The Choristers will present Felix Mendelssohn’s monumental Elijah with 5 soloists and a 40-piece professional orchestra also held at Trinity Lutheran Church.
