David Lubar Gives 15 Attendees Free Copy of New Book

David Lubar, an author of numerous books for teens, will read from his books and take audience questions on Wednesday, July 16 at the Upper Moreland Free Library. The event starts at 4pm, which is a good hour for teens and adults to spend time in an air conditioned building.

A nice bonus is that the first 15 attendees get a free copy of Lubar’s book, Dunk.

Lubar has a variety of interests. He designed and programmed the game, Home Alone, for the GameBoy and Fantastic Voyage and River Raid II for the Atari 2600. He studied at Rutgers University and played guitar in a blue grass band.

Some writers that Lubar names among his favorites include Katherine Paterson, Roald Dahl, John Steinbeck, Robert Parker, Stephen King and C. S. Lewis.

Reserve a seat for the event by calling the library at 215.659.0741.
