Daylight Saving Time Ends Sunday

It will soon be time to turn back your clocks one hour.

It’s almost time to ”fall back.”

Daylight Saving Time in 2014 ends in the United States this Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 a.m.

You’ll be setting your clock back one hour, following the adage of “spring forward, fall back.” The “extra” hour gives you a chance to catch up on the sleep you lost in March when the clocks moved forward and Daylight Saving Time began.

The sun is currently setting just before 6 p.m. Next week, after Daylight Saving Time ends, it will set before 5 p.m. Sunset on Nov. 2 is expected at 4:57 p.m.

The federal government doesn’t require states to adopt Daylight Saving Time. Pennsylvania, like most of the rest of the United States, observes it.
