Ebola Joke Gets Man Booted Off Plane From Philly

A passenger aboard a flight departing from Philadelphia Airport who reportedly make a joke about Ebola was escorted off the aircraft by officials wearing hazmat suits.
The incident occurred Wednesday on US Airways Flight 845 from Philadelphia to Punta Cana, according to a YouTube video posted by another passenger.
The video shows the flight attendant addressing the cabin just before a team of agents enter the airplane with large blue suits, complete with facemasks.

“It’s going to look worse than it is,” she said, asking the passengers to “please stay out of the way and let them do their job.”
After about five minutes, the agents are seen escorting a black man off the plane. He is heard muttering, “I ain’t from Africa, s**t.”

Other passengers can be heard booing the man as he leaves the aircraft.
US Airways, in a statement to the Philadelphia Inquirer, said there was a “possible health issue on board” and the airline was adhering to CDC guidelines in response to the Ebola virus.
The flight was check and cleared for takeoff following the incident, according to the US Airways statement.
