Adult Karate

Upper Moreland has developed a "Wee" series, of 45- to 60-minute programs developed for high-energy, learning-hungry preschool children. Wee programs have plenty of activity, and an emphasis on fun and interaction with other children.

Adult Karate classes meet on Mondays and Thursdays, Sept. 12 through Dec. 15, at Upper Moreland Primary School gym, with no class on Sept. 29, Nov. 3 and Nov. 24. Monday class is held from 7:45 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Students will learn discipline, humility and desire to achieve in this program, which has been taught since 1982. Instructors are certified in traditional Shotokan Karate. Learn in a relaxed, non-threatening setting to strengthen self-awareness and self-confidence.
