Organ Recital at First Presbyterian

Rodney Long, Music Director at First
Presbyterian Church, will present an organ recital on November 20 at 3 pm. The
program has been planned to appeal to a variety of musical tastes, including
works by Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as works by Maurice Durufle, Cesar
Frank and other contemporary composers.
Some of the works Mr. Long will be playing have been selected from his
program at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC where he performed on May
29 of this year.

Mr. Long, a native of Charlottesville,
Virginia, began his study of the organ and performing for church services at
the age of fifteen.  He has studied at
Westminster Choir College, Peabody Conservatory of Music, and the University of
Laverne, Kifissia in Athens, Greece.
