Fire Damages Tony Roni's Pizza In Willow Grove Monday Night

A fire swept through Tony Roni's Pizza in Willow Grove Monday night.

WILLOW GROVE, PA — Firefighters battled a blaze at Tony Roni's Pizza in Willow Grove Monday night.

The incident occurred at around 6:46 p.m. at the restaurant, located on 1107 Easton Road.

Crews were met with heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof when they arrived on the scene.

Firefighters entered the building through a side entrance and the front, while another crew focused on the flames on the roof, eventually quelling the blaze.

It's not yet clear what caused the fire. It caused notable damage, and is closed until further notice.

Tony Roni's issued a statement on the blaze:

"As many of you are already aware there was a fire in our Willow Grove location last night. We are so fortunate that everyone is safe and are so thankful for everyone's support at this time. A special thank you to everyone at the Willow Grove Volunteer Fire Company for their hard work."

The Upper Moreland Fire Marshal is leading the investigation.
