Four local municipalities were named among the top 16 “small cities” in all of Pennsylvania by 101usa.com.

The four best “small cities” from the local region, according to the study, were:

6. West Chester

8. Drexel Hill

10. Phoenixville

Willow Grove’s long history, it’s small town feel, the mall, and its tightly knit community were all recognized by the study.

Similarly, Phoenixville’s historical landmarks along with its downtown and community events justified its inclusion on the list.

Columbia was ranked as the best small city in Pennsylvania.
