In Honour of 15 years...our first ever FREE contest Challenge runs now through September 15th, and the first chance to participate will be at 3:30 grand opening of the pirate ship at Kids Castle Doylestown, PA. The Village Renaissance Faire, the ultimate family festival that gives everything back to the community, is giving back even more this year, and it could be to you...if you play, share, and laugh, you win... not just by being part of the giving but also you can win the Ultimate Faire pass, partner prizes, or free passes.

The Village Player Pirates are glad to be able to invade Kids Castle and Board the new pirate Ship. Kids Castle and the Ship seem like home to Village Players as they are accustomed to making people of all ages feel at home at the Village Renaissance Faire which will happen this September 20 & 21, 2014 on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds. The Faire, the Pirate Ship, and the players all have something in common, they are possible through the volunteerism and commitment of our community making a difference. These players are trained at the Village Library over the Summer months in improv, dialect, and theatre, and they are proud to be at Kids Castle welcoming people to yet another community celebration. They will mingle, mangle, and create merriment with their wit, humor, and games. Take a picture with one of your favorite pirate, Dallas, Eric, or Tina today, or visit them at the faire, with their hundreds of cohorts there.

Today, they also have a special scroll that not only announces the Faire, but also creates an opportunity for you to participate in a free on-line contest to earn free admission to the faire, free movie passes, free theatre passes, and the ultimate faire pass--available no-where else. Although winning this free on-line drawing would be a blessing...don’t worry, for those who do not win the raffle, the Faire remains an authentic, affordable, family friendly faire here is Bucks County, at admission of only $5, and under 5, FREE.

As with everything at the faire, being part of it is not hard, and you can be as involved and as creative as you wish. So how can you play. Its simple you can play anyone of three ways:

1. Goto our faceback page, https://www.facebook.com/villagefaire, and for a like you receive 5 drawing entrees, for a share you receive 25 drawing entrees
2. Enter the contest on our facebook page---making a pirate scowl (pictures or videos, your choice), 100 drawing entrees for posting your pirate, then bonus points whenever others “like” and “share” your image
3. Buy your advance passes through the villagefaire.org link and earn 100 drawing entrees, just for doing what you would want to do anyway---going to the closest, most affordable, authenthic and fun faire.

Why so simple?...Because having fun, should not be hard.... and the reward is in the effort and being part of something special like our faire.

The prizes are just as valuable, and some have never been offered before. Of course, free passes are nice, even though the faire is only $5. Who wouldn’t want to save even more. For the adult entrants, adults passes for two to a showing at Peoples Light and Theatre Company or Movies at the County Theatre in Doylestown. And for the younger and families, 2 free day passes to Sesame place this Fall.

And the most special of all...the Ultimate pass. After a person visits our artisans, crafters, and enjoys our 9 stages, fine arts, aerialists, firebreathers, jousters, and more, or the children enjoy the free crafts, games, puppet shows, and interactive play area, the ULTIMATE pass (available no-otherway) will allow a person to celebrate all the other activities once, free of charge as well.
