Fund Created for Children Impacted by Monday Killing Spree

Word FM and the Souderton-Telford Rotary have partnered with Univest Foundation to establish the Stone & Flick Children Fund.

A local radio station and the Souderton-Telford Rotary have partnered to establish a fund for the children impacted by this week’s killing spree in Montgomery County.

Word FM, a local, faith-based radio station, and the Souderton-Telford Rotary have partnered with Univest Foundation to establish the Stone & Flick Children Fund. The fund will assist in raising funds for the two Stone daughters and Anthony Flick.

The Stone daughters lost their mother, Nicole Hill Stone, as well as grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousin during a rampage authorities say was carried out by her father, Bradley Stone. Anthony Flick, Hill Stone’s nephew and the Stone girls cousin, lost his parents and sister, Nina.

“We know that we can never put back together the pieces that these children have lost, but our hope is that as the generosity of our community members comes forth, we’ll be able to provide a little peace and comfort,” Word FM station manager Dave Baker said.

The fund has been jumpstarted with a $5,000 donation – $3,000 from Univest Corporation, $1,000 from Word FM and $1,000 from Souderton-Telford Rotary.

Authorities say Bradley Stone shot his ex-wife, Nicole Hill Stone, in the early morning hours Monday at her residence in Lower Salford Township. Stone is also suspected of killing Hill Stone’s mother, Joanne Hill, and grandmother, Patricia Hill, both of Lansdale, as well as her sister, Patricia Flick, her sister’s husband, Aaron, and their 14-year-old daughter, Nina. The Flick’s 17-year-old son, Anthony, is recovering from cutting wounds inflicted by Stone, according to authorities.
