Horsham Police To Host 'Drug Take Back' Day

Typical methods for disposing of unused medicines, like flushing them down the toilet or throwing them away, may be unsafe and ineffective.

The Horsham Police will hold a “Drug Take Back” Day on Saturday, September 12 at the Giant Grocery Store on 314 Horsham Road.

Members of the community are asked to come by and drop off any unwanted, expired, or dangerous medications and pills with no questions asked.

“Medicines that languish in cabinets at home are highly susceptible to diversion, misuse, and abuse,” the police said in a press release.
