You probably know that the Upper Moreland Free Public Library sells donated books. You may not know, however, just how much these sales benefit the library.
The Friends of the Library manage the used book sales program. They earn an average of $1,000 per month, which is amazing. The Friends are volunteers who spend a lot of time on this and other projects to provide services to our patrons. They always welcome new members, so here is information if you'd like to contact them.
Stop by the library and donate the books you've read and of course, buy new ones to dive into. They're cheap, especially when you consider the experiences they bring you.
