Often referred to as “The Most Learned Woman in America”, Elizabeth Graeme Fergusson lived a unique life in 18th-century America. Often forgotten by modern historians, she was a witness to the creation of our country, and her journals, poetry, letters, and essays captured her experiences and relationships with some of the most influential people of that time. While Elizabeth’s life was filled with heartbreak and turmoil, her literary work and salons remained in the hearts of all who knew her. Join First-person interpreter Patricia Troilo as she brings to life this remarkable woman and shares the stories and poetry that the “Mistress of Graeme Park” left behind.
