Man Exposed Himself To Teenage Girls In Huntingdon Valley: Cops

The registered sex offender had exposed himself to the same girls before, and managed to track them down again, police said.

ABINGTON, PA — A registered sex offender has been arrested after exposing himself to a group of teenage girls in Abington earlier this month, police said.

The incident occurred on June 12 at the Wendy's on 733 Huntingdon Pike, police said. Michael A. Rosenberg, 64, of Philadelphia, came up to three girls, all fifteen-years-old, and took out his genitals, according to authorities.

It's not the first contact that Rosenberg had with the three teens, police said. Rosenberg exposed himself to the same girls near the Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center back in March. The girls fled inside the shopping center as Rosenberg attempted to follow them, police said, but they were able to escape.

An investigation connected Rosenberg to a similar incident back in 2014. Police said they found that Rosenberg was responsible for following a 14-year-old girl inside the Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem Township, and ultimately exposing himself to her.

The statute of limitations has not expired for the Bensalem incident, so Rosenberg has been charged for both the two Abington incidents and the Bensalem one.

He faces counts of indecent exposure, felony unlawful contact with a minor, and open lewdness.

He failed to post $100,000 bail and was taken to Montgomery County Prison.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
