Man Sentenced After Stealing $7k Of Retail In Montgomery County: Report

The suspects were paying unusual attention to Burberry merchandise on repeated visits.

A Philadelphia man was sentenced for stealing $7,000 of retail from the Willow Grove Park Mall in Abington in December, according to a report in the Intelligencer.

Tyree Harrison, 24, will spend between nine and 23 months in county jail after pleading guilty to felony conspiracy to commit retail theft, the report states.

The incident occurred at about noon on December 14, 2014 at Bloomingdale’s, the report states, when a store security officer noticed the particular preoccupation which Harrison and two others - Dominic Thomas, 20, and Dorrell Shaw, 25 - had with Burberry merchandise.

Harrison will also have to testify against one of the other two suspects in the theft as part of his agreement, the report states.
