Man Uses Stolen Credit Card To Buy $1200 Phone In Willow Grove: Cops

UPPER MORELAND, PA — A man stole a credit card from a local park and used it to buy a $1,200 iPhone at the Willow Grove Park Mall earlier this month, police said.

The original theft occured on May 7 at Masons Mill Park in Upper Moreland.

Police said the owner's vehicle was left unlocked and that the credit card and cash were stolen.

Shortly thereafter, the card was used at the mall's Apple store to buy a new iPhone 14 for $1,270.94.

The suspect, pictured above, was wearing a long sleeve Nike t-shirt.
