Memorial Day Observed At Veterans' Graves In Montgomery County
Wreaths were laid at monuments throughout Montgomery Cemetery honoring veterans.
The graves of soldiers and veterans were honored Saturday in a ceremony at the historic Montgomery Cemetery.
The observance, which began at 11 a.m., was organized by the Historical Society of Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department Color Guard began the ceremony, followed by remarks from County Commissioner Chair Josh Shapiro.

Wreaths were then laid at several monuments throughout the ceremony, and a Rose Petal Ceremony took place at the Zook GAR Post Site.
Memorial Day events will continue through Monday throughout Montgomery County.
