Memory Care Opens at The Landing at Willow Grove

Individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory-related conditions now have a welcoming new specialized residential choice: the Safe Harbor memory care neighborhood located within The Landing at Willow Grove senior living community. Safe Harbor, which includes 23 private or shared studio apartments, is staffed by friendly, compassionate professionals who are skilled in working with memory care residents. The Safe Harbor team works closely with doctors and families to provide a personalized memory care plan for each resident – so they can be their best at every moment of the day.

The lakeside community features an engaging environment with a soothing decor and stylish, restful common areas. The lounge includes a fireplace, spaces for activities and socializing, as well as access to a secure outdoor memory care garden with gazebo. All apartments are bright, furnished and include a spacious bathroom, and each apartment door is decorated with memory boxes to provide comforting memory prompts.
Residents share meals in the dining area, and enjoy a daily schedule of social activities designed specifically for individuals with memory disorders. They are often escorted to other areas within The Landing at Willow Grove so they can participate in appropriate activities including physical therapy, cultural events, and use of the on-site beauty salon and barber shop.
