"A Midsummer's Night Dream" August 11, 12 and 13th!

A family-friendly Shakepeare theatre production on the lawn of Abington Arts Center! Free for kids and $5 for adults!

Abington Art Center, Pulley & Buttonhole Theatre Company, and White Pines Productions announce the co-production of Shakespeare’s classic romantic comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream at 7 pm on August 11, 12 & 13. Presented on the Susquehanna Bank Stage on the lawn of Alverthorpe Manor, this tangle of fairy magic, young lovers and amateur actors is sure to delight audiences of all ages.

Facilitated by John Bellomo (Associate Professor of Theatre at West Chester University, former Artistic Director of The Maryland Shakespeare Festival and Co-Artistic Director of Ombelico Mask Ensemble), the collaboration is an exploration of the original practices of William Shakespeare’s company of players. This is an effort to bring new vitality to the performing of Shakespeare’s plays through actor impulse and audience interaction. A Midsummer’s Night Dream will be a loose and infectious romp through one of William Shakespeare’s most joyous and accessible plays.

Tickets are available online or at the gate. $5 adults, kids are free!
