'Miracle Bike Rider' Of Montco Has Ridden 650,000 Lifetime Miles
That's a lot of miles.
AMBLER, PA -- A Montgomery County man recently celebrated his 80th birthday party in style, commemorating 650,000 lifetime miles biked.
Jim Eads, the ”miracle bike-rider,” is from Ambler.
He celebrated his birthday at the Willow Inn in Willow Grove on Monday.

During 2015, Eads rode nearly 8,000 miles.
In the year 2000, to celebrate the millenium, Eads rode 20,000 miles. He was 64 and 65 at the time.

He competes for the Central Bucks Bicycle Club, for which he is the top mileage holder and the oldest rider.
More than 20 people attended his party, including many from the CBBC. The club’s founder, Bradford Kiddle, was on hand as well. The club was founded in 1970 and has grown to around 600 members.
